NT: Two people die in separate accidents in Central Australia

Two people have died in separate car accidents in Central Australia.

Police say a 36-year-old man died after being hit by a car in Alice Springs at about
8 pm (CST) on Saturday.

The 47-year-old driver told police he failed to see the man .. who was lying on the
side of the road when he was hit.

In a second incident .. a man died after he was thrown from a car that rolled on a
dirt road about 100 kilometres east of Kintore.

The car's four other occupants suffered minor injuries in the accident.
