Federal sex discrimination commissioner PRU GOWARD has offered to conduct an inquiryinto sexual antics involving HMAS Arunta crew on Christmas Island last month.

The navy has ordered a new two-week investigation into allegations of misconduct andsexual assaults, with crew members reportedly involved in naked romps, indecent acts andthefts.

The story's come to light after a military police report on the incident was leakedto Sydney's Daily Telegraph.
