NSW: Union accused of making vexatious safety claims

SYDNEY, Jan 16 AAP - A construction union was today accused of raising vexatious safety
concerns following a tragic industrial accident at a southern Sydney building site last
week in which a worker had part of his leg amputated.

Baulderstone Hornibrook said today it was forced to send workers home from part of
its M5 east extension for the second day running after safety inspectors from the Construction
Forestry Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) alleged further safety breaches on the site.
