VIC: Victorians to go to polls on September 18 = 6

The election will be held on the third week of the AFL finals series, the week before the
grand final.

Mr KENNETT'S announcement follows the recent successful opening of the first part of the
City Link project and yesterday's decision by the Federal government to kick in funding for
the Geelong road.

Tolls have not been introduced on the City Link yet, but Mr KENNETT is unconcerned, saying
he would imagine that tolls could be introduced during this campaign.
